When I think of what it is to be a mom, my perspective has changed. Now that I have a little one of my own, I see motherhood differently. I respect my own mom and the sacrifices she made so much more. I see the choices that my grandmothers made in a different light and am much more grateful for the time I spent with them. I feel compelled to encourage the mamas around me - no matter how they began this journey called motherhood. The new mom, the homeschooling mom, the mom who has lost herself in her littles. 6 Ways to Live a More Restful Life
When it comes to resting, I think the automatic way of thinking is that it is something seperate from life itself. We go and do until we are exhausted and can't go and do anymore. Then we rest. I don't think this is healthy. I think that resting should be part of living - a lens through which we see our lives and responsibilities.
