We found out that Baby Seeley is a ….
……. BOY! We are so excited!
We decided that with this pregnancy we wanted to find out the gender of our little one during the ultrasound. It was a sweet moment (and a moment where my hubbs said, “YES! I knew it!”) that we will always treasure! It is so surreal watching the baby move on the screen and thinking that is happening inside of me!
We didn’t want to make the new grandparents wait too long, so we sent them some photos of these blocks and of one of the ultrasound photos.
The rest of our family and friends found out via this year’s Christmas card (thanks, Shutterfly!). We thought we’d let them know our little gift was a boy while we were picking out our Christmas tree!
We always talked about doing some kind of gender reveal party, but this just felt more “us” right now.
Starting in January, I will start giving some more updates about baby and me. I can’t believe he will be here in a short 4 months!
How did you tell your family and friends about baby?
Did you have a gender reveal party?

I just love those pictures, you are a beautiful pregnant woman. Your heart is also beautiful. Praising God for our new granddaughter. Now, you just need to settle on a name so great-grandma can start some projects.
Love you so much Anna

I loved your idea of having the reveal on your Christmas card. For our oldest, we had put together a photo album of both my siblings and my cousins baby’s with their birthday, and then the last one had a note about baby messerly’s due date. For our second child I was in shock and not at all ready to embrace it when we found out- so I just told people… and in doing so, my excitement began to grow. There’s plenty of “things” to sidetrack a mother’s mind. This time is oh-so-precious that you have to be diligent to just relish in the magic and beauty of this tiny person inside you and let those moments fill your heart and mind with joy.
SO HAPPY FOR THE SEELEYS!!!!
