This year especially, I have so much to be thankful for. When times are tough or my body is achy I just remember the enormous blessing that Hubby and I have in our little growing baby.
I have always been the type of person to not want to forget ANYTHING. Thus, I became a list maker and notebook keeper and a planner addict. When I got a smart phone, I started keeping things stored in apps as well. When it comes to trips and special occasions, I tend to take too many photos as I just want to remember all the things. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in trying to remember the event that I forget special little things along the way!
When I found out I was pregnant, I bought a cute little notebook. My intent was to journal about this crazy process, and that is in part what it has become. But my little notebook has kind of turned into letters to baby, prayers for baby, notes about the crazy things I feel and am going through, and pictures of the journey. In the beginning weeks, I struggled with fear about all the things that could happen to this little life inside of me and wondered how I would feel looking back on the words if something were to happen. But God reminded me that He is in control – not me.
I am really excited to keep up this mellow (to me!) way of documenting this pregnancy. I am trying not to put pressure on myself (hello, perfectionist here!) to write a certain number of times or do a specific thing.
So far it’s going well! Now that I have some photos of my little bump, I’ve added those which was fun.
Did you do anything to document your pregnancy?

So very happy for you and Josh, not to mention your parents, as they are special to me. Enjoy the journey.
